Screening of the documentary “PolitZek”

On Friday, October 30, the Association of Free Russians in Turin is organizing a screening of PolitZek, a documentary by Manon Loizeau and Ekaterina Mamontova. This collaborative work by a Russian and a French filmmaker tells the stories of Russian political prisoners through the testimonies of their loved ones.

The film is in English, while the participants’ first-hand accounts are in Russian with English subtitles.

After the screening, there will be a discussion where you can share your impressions and ask questions to activists. We will also explain how you can take part in the letter-writing evenings that our association organizes every month. The film will help us understand why supporting political prisoners is so important.
